Operating its activities inside Teknopark İzmir Innovation Center since 2016, Classboom Pre-incubation and incubation center is Turkey’s first guided project funded by the Izmir Development Agency. Classboom supports entrepreneurs with qualified infrastructure and value added services from idea stage to commercialization stage during their most fragile periods.

The major aim of Classboom is to encourage entrepreneurship in universities, technoparks and the entire entrepreneurship ecosystem, to raise awareness, to strengthen and internalize the entrepreneurial culture, to spread the entrepreneurial spirit, to transform business ideas into qualified business plans, with value-added services such as training for entrepreneurs, mentoring, pre-incubation and incubation services.

Classboom offers entrepreneurs mentoring/consulting services to entrepreneurs, prepares entrepreneurs for investor pitching, financing and funding resources so that startups can turn into a successful venture that can live on its own without the support and services of TTO and Technopark.

Classboom pre-incubation center provides various infrastructure facilities such as shared office space, Internet access, meeting and seminar rooms, kitchen, technical workshop free of charge inside 900 m2 indoor area.

Both incubation programs provide value added services such as mentorship, coaching, trainings, investor pitchings, networking and many other services free of charge.

Technical workshop provides 3D printers for prototyping, electronic surface mounters free of charge.

In addition to these intensive value added services such as training, mentoring and consultancy programs, social events are organized in order to strengthen the social aspects of entrepreneurs and their participation in national and international events.

To sum up, Classboom provides various infrastructure and value added services as well as social events to support entrepreneurs in all stages of entrepreneurs’ journey.
